16-Channel Low Thermal Guarded Scanner for Precision Resistance Measurements

The Data Proof 160B OPT5 is a specialized low thermal scanner designed for automated precision resistance measurements in high- and ultra-high-resistance applications. Unlike standard scanner configurations, the OPT5 version incorporates a fully guarded architecture that significantly reduces leakage currents, enabling accurate measurements up to the gigaohm range. The scanner utilizes separate high and low guard circuits surrounding the measurement leads throughout the entire signal path-from the resistor under test, through the scanner, and to the output cables. This design minimizes leakage-related measurement errors and provides superior accuracy for high-resistance calibration and metrology applications.
