OMICRON Lab Educational Material brings professional measurement technology into electronics education. Educational packages based on the Bode 100, software, and lab experiments enable students to practically explore frequency response, impedance, and stability, effectively bridging theory and real-world measurements in the lab.

OMICRON Lab - Educational Material

OMICRON Lab Educational Material is a solution for hands-on teaching of electronic measurements, designed for universities, technical faculties, professional laboratories, and technically oriented high schools. At its core is the Bode 100 Educational Package, which brings professional vector network analysis into teaching and laboratory exercises.

According to OMICRON Lab, the package is intended for universities and technical schools and combines the Bode 100, Bode Analyzer Suite, application notes, tutorials, and educational materials. The educational concept includes real laboratory measurements at an industry level: frequency response, gain and phase measurement, impedance analysis, LCR measurement of passive components, control loop analysis, stability of DC/DC converters, PSRR, and step-load response. The Bode 100 operates as a vector network analyzer, frequency response analyzer, gain/phase meter, and impedance analyzer in the range from 1 Hz to 50 MHz, and is positioned by OMICRON Lab for both research and educational laboratories.

For educational institutions, it is important that this is not just an instrument but a complete teaching platform. The package includes the Bode 100, the B-WIT 100 wideband injection transformer, two PML 111O 10:1 passive probes, the B-WIC impedance test fixture with calibration boards, two Buck Converter Stability Demoboards, and a carrying case for Bode 100 / 500. The Buck Converter Stability Demoboard is designed for analyzing the stability of a dual buck converter and is optimized for use with Bode 100 / Bode 500 analyzers.

It enables measurements such as open-loop gain, NISM, input and output impedance, PSRR, and step-load response.

At universities, the solution can be used in courses such as power electronics, control theory, analog electronics, measurement techniques, and research projects. Students can directly connect mathematical models of transfer functions, stability, and impedance with real measurements.

At technical high schools, it supports intuitive laboratory work with components, filters, power supplies, and basic control structures-helping bridge theoretical electronics with practical design and diagnostics.
