Wide range without compromise

At the core of the HRRS‑5 kV is a flexible, modular design with 1 to 9 decades, configurable to match specific application requirements. The system covers:

  • low resistance ranges starting from ohms
  • mid-range values in the megohm region

For the highest resistance ranges (≥ 100 GΩ), a sealed (-WT) version with integrated desiccant is available, protecting the system from humidity-one of the primary sources of measurement error in teraohm applications.

The HRRS‑5 kV reflects real measurement scenarios and calibration practices:

  • low resistance ranges calibrated at low voltage
  • mid ranges tested up to approximately 200 V DC
  • high resistance ranges (100 MΩ to TΩ) typically tested at 1000 V, with optional extension up to 5 kV or 10 kV

This ensures realistic simulation of actual operating conditions for the devices under test.
